The CIEH Manual Handling Course can be conducted in-house depending on the number of employees, or at our Training Centre in the Midlands.

This qualification can be delivered as a half-day programme for learners who only wish to gain the CIEH Level 2 Award in Principles of Manual Handling.

All employees who have to carry out manual handling activities at work.

Legislation requires employers to take appropriate steps to reduce the risk of injury to employees.
This qualification combines the theory and practical elements of manual handling. It teaches techniques to lift, carry, push and pull objects safely.

- Learn the value of risk assessment and how to apply it
- Make recommendations to safelymanage risks
- Apply the principles of safer handling to a range of every day tasks
