Scaffolding Level 1 Training Course

The aim of our Scaffolding Level 1 Training Course is to provide participants with the opportunity to become competent in applying the skills, knowledge, and attitudes associated with the safe erection/dismantling of scaffolding systems.

Scaffolding Level 1 Course Content:

• Introduction
• Construction Site Safety Awareness
• Health and Safety Legislation
• Erecting/dismantling of scaffolding systems
• Tied Scaffold in Tubes & Fittings
• Propriety Systems Scaffold

Scaffold Level 1 Course Duration: 7 Days

Scaffolding Training Course Training Times: 8.00 am-4.30 pm

Scaffold Training Assessment: Practical & Theory Tests

Scaffolding Certification: CSCS Ticket Level 1 and a FETAC Certificate

Scaffold Level 1 Course Prerequisites:

• Minimum of nine months experience working alongside a certified scaffolder
• Two Passport Photographs
• Safe pass course completed
• PPS Number
• PPE(Personal Protective Equipment), i.e. Hard Hat, High Vis Vest,
• Steel Toe Capped Boots, Gloves.
• Scaffolders Safety Harness with large hook
• Scaffolding tool belt consisting of:
  • Box spanner swing over 7/16
  • Podger
  • Frog
  • Measuring Tape
  • Magnetic Level

The course is delivered through a combination of classroom-based tutorials and practical training. Our Scaffolding Level 1 Training and assessment programme enables experienced drivers to gain the necessary training. Successful Scaffolding Level 1 Training course candidates get certified after demonstrating their skills and knowledge.
