The aim of this Compactor Training Course is to provide training and knowledge in the safe and efficient operation of compactors. The course is spent on developing skills and knowledge associated with this type of the machine.
Compactor Course Content:
- Introduction
- Site safety Awareness
- How to operate the machine safely and effectively
- Health and Safety Legislation
- Pre shift and daily inspection
- Starting and stopping the machine
- Using different Attachments/log handler/high tip buckets
- Loading onto hoppers/lorries
- Grading/Excavating/ practical skills assessment
Duration: 1 Day
Training Times: 8.00 – 16:30
Assessment: Theory and Practical Examination
Compactor Certification: On successful completion candidates will be awarded a KTC Ltd card.
Compactor Training Coiurse Prerequisites:
6 months operational experience
One passport size photograph
PPS Number
Personal Protective Equipment (Hard Hat, High Visibility Vest, Safety Boots, Gloves)
