Aim
The training is designed to meet all sectors of industry. It will meet all standards for those who may be required to work in confined spaces and participate in the emergency procedures from within a confined space. It will take them through progressive steps that will give them the confidence to work in confined spaces and prepare them may they have effect emergency procedures.

Content:
Definition of confined space
Code of practice and legislation
Emergency arrangements, equipment and PPE.
Training, gas detection and assessment of work area
Potential hazards
Risk assessment
Permits

The practical exam will include: Entry into a Confined Space, Access Equipment (Tripod, Harness & Winch) Gas Detector & Ten minute escape set (Breathing Apparatus)


Duration: 1 Day

Training Times: 8.30 - 16:30

Assessment: Theory and Practical Examination

Certification: On successful completion candidates will be awarded an KTC Ltd card.

One Passport Photographs
Safe pass course completed
