Course Overview
The CSCS Telehandler / Teleporter Training Course equips participants with the essential skills and certification required to operate a telescopic handler safely and efficiently in construction and industrial environments.
This course is suitable for both experienced operators seeking certification and new entrants looking to build a strong foundation in machine operation. The training focuses on safe handling techniques, load management, hazard awareness, and daily maintenance checks. Through a combination of classroom instruction and practical, on-site assessments, participants will gain the confidence and competence needed to operate teleporters in compliance with current health and safety legislation.
Training Requirements
To participate in the CSCS Telehandler / Teleporter Training Course, the following requirements apply:
For the 1-Day Assessment (Experienced Operators):
This is an assessment-only day for experienced operators to obtain their Full CSCS Licence. No training is provided as part of this option.
Requirements:
- Proven previous experience operating teleporters.
- Completion of a CSCS Candidate Pack in advance, including a log of relevant experience.
- Good understanding of spoken and written English.
- Valid, in-date physical Safe Pass card is required.
For the 3-Day New Entrant Course (Novice Operators):
This is a training course for novice operators to obtain their Provisional CSCS Licence.
Requirements:
- No previous experience necessary.
- Completion of a CSCS Candidate Pack (provided by KTC Safety).
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Valid, in-date physical Safe Pass card is required.
