PA1 – Safe Handling & Application of Pesticides
This PA1 Pesticides Training Course is a one-day foundation/training course to be taken in conjunction with another PA unit e.g PA2A, PA2F, PA3A etc
PA1 covers the theory aspect of the safe handling and application of pesticides and is classroom based. This training courses is designed for anyone who needs to apply pesticides in a public place for a recognised appropriate qualification.
Candidates must attend this PA1 training course and one other PA training module in order to gain a certificate of competence.
- PA1 cannot be taken as a stand alone qualification and must be taken in conjunction with one other PA unit (PA2A, PA2F, PA3A etc).
- PA1 is classroom based, candidates must successfully pass PA1 before being assessed for another PA unit
- The PA1 assessment is a computer based 33 multiple choice test
