To assess the candidates knowledge and skills to the item of machinery.

Wood-Chipper Learning Outcomes:

• Know the Health & Safety requirements for operating a wood-chipper
• Be able to carry out a risk assessment on a site
• Be able to prepare the equipment & site for wood-chipping operations
• Be able to operate a wood-chipper
• Carry out maintenance on a wood-chipper

Duration: 2 hours per person

Certification: On successful completion candidates will be awarded with CITY and GUILDS NPTC level 2 certificate of competence
